Jim Kaspar, Deephaven,Minnesota
Jim Kaspar worked for the state of Minnesota in McGregor and later was employed with the U.S. Postal Service at the Wayzata station. Jim carved mostly miniature ducks of all species, some mini pheasants and the Minnesota state bird, the common loon.. His family estimated that he carved over 300 in different species, most carved in the 1950's. Some are signed on the bottom and all are in excellent condition.
